Who was Smedley Butler?
The veterans for peace who are running the St. Patrick's Day Peace Parade are name after Butler. Who was he? His famous quote became "war is a racket." He then played a central role in blocking the overthrow of Roosevelt in the 1930's by Wall Street influences.
