Ron Paul is the race's 13th floor: This Is What I've Always Said The Main Stream Media Picks The Candidates For Us

Brilliant satire by Jon Stewart. There is plenty not to like about Ron Paul but this is just a perfect demonstration of how the media tells the public who is acceptable to vote for and who isn't. Media attention is life, and the presses can turn off the oxygen by ignoring someone. It happens on both sides. In the Iowa, last time, for the Democrats: Obama finished first, Edwards finished second, Hillary finished third. It was presented as how Obama's race with Hillary was shaping up. I guess it was the media's assessment that they didn't really care for Edward's whole "two America" thing. I think Obama and Hillary had shown themselves more likely to play ball with them. I'm very excited to see which candidates they will pick for us to anoint. I hear there are three viable candidates on the Republican side, though no one has voted: Romney, Perry, or Bachman. I think they'll asphyxiate Bachman pretty quickly as the powers that really run the US might think she's serious. Perry could get the nomination as long as he gives them a wink and a nod that he believes in nothing of what he is saying. Romney will get the nod if he doesn't make himself totally unpalatable to every living America. If not look for a dark horse to come in and pick up the Wall Street mantle, then we can go and invade another country to teach them about democracy.
