BREAKING: Dell Becomes 21st Company To Drop ALEC | ThinkProgress: "

Computer technology giant Dell has decided to drop its membership in the American Legislative Exchange Council, a right-wing corporate front group behind the spread of voter suppression laws and Stand You Ground legislation. According to a letter from Dell’s Principal Social Strategist obtained by ThinkProgress, the company has decided not to renew its membership. Dell is the 21st group to end its relationship with ALEC, but some large corporations remain in the fold, including State Farm and AT&T."
