Senator Scott Brown pick-up driver hangs out with royalty

Senator Scott Brown says Obama should be ‘transparent’ in ‘Fast and Furious’ controversy - Political Intelligence - A national political and campaign blog from The Boston Globe - Boston.com:

US Senator Scott Brown’s campaign said the senator misspoke when he asserted in a radio interview this morning that he has held meetings with “kings and queens.”

The comments on WTKK-FM were roundly mocked by Democrats. Brown, in making them, was pushing back against critics who say his campaign has not been focused on serious issues, pointing out that he ran a radio ad about military base closings. He also said he was working on substantive issues on a daily basis, some that involve royalty.

“Each and every day that I’ve been a United States senator, I’ve been discussing issues, meeting on issues, in secret meetings and with kings and queens and prime ministers and business leaders and military leaders, talking, voting, working on issues every single day,” he said on the Jim Braude and Margery Eagan Show.

Brown spokesman Colin Reed said in an e-mail that “Senator Brown was speaking generally about private meetings he has had with foreign and domestic leaders.”
He later acknowledged that Brown, who has made his reputation as a truck-driving everyman, has not met with any royalty.

LP - Scott I hope they allow you to bring the pick up right up to the gates at Buckingham Palace.

Scott Brown's truck is back out of moth balls again. He's just a regular guy, with 15 million in the bank, pounding a few beers

Daily Kos :: News Community Action

Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) is back to trying to do the "common man" thing again, but is actually mostly just succeeding at skeezy.
The road yesterday took Brown to the Blue Hills Brewery in Canton, where the buttoned-down Wrentham Republican invited this Herald reporter to loosen up and sip brews from small sample cups. “You can pound those pretty good,” Brown said as he tasted one of the lighter brews. His favorite was a hoppy beer called Red I.P.A.
“Sit down. Try this one. I’ve seen you in the bars before, don’t act like you’ve never been to a bar,” he said, sliding over a stool. “We’re gonna have her dancing in the back of the truck.”
Brown then got behind the wheel of his dark green pickup and cruised to his next campaign stop.

Elizabeth Warren was on Rachel Maddow last night. After facing off against Wall Street's biggest banks and I'll add that their lackey isn't all that scarey

Warren To Rachel Maddow:
"I've been told a lot of times about what's not possible," Warren said, when Maddow asked about Washington's intractable political culture. "I was told when I was down in Washington, we couldn't have a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and the reason was because the largest lobbying force ever assembled on the face of the earth has said 'no, they've said they'll kill it, they've said it won't happen," and you know, my view on that just meant, then you stand up and you push harder, you push back, you don't step down. ...we're talking about the whole future of the middle class."
"I am not giving up on this," Warren continued. "I am ready to take this fight all the way to the floor of the United States Senate."

Excuse me Scott Brown isn't one of the privileged few because he owns a truck that he parks in Washington. Just like anyone else with ten million in the bank. Here is his truck:

Scott Brown he owns a tuck and 10 million in cash

It was Almost as inspiring as when Fred Thompson used it as A Prop to drive to Washington From Tennessee

Of course if you don't own a truck the next best thing is a horse. I heard the sainted Ronald Reagan once rode one.

Once You Get To Washington You Get To Park It And Fly On Your Corporate Jet
