Mayor Michael Bloomberg stopped by to visit with his constituents on Scarborough Country (MSNBC). That must make him the mayor of Scarborough country. The mayor sat down with the ex-politician Joe, the daughter of the ex-government official Mika, and Harold (I'm just an ex-politician who no one is supposed to know I work for Wall Street) Ford. Bloomberg had just given an important speech at least his Scarborough Country constituents thought so. He was calling for a repeal of the Bush tax cuts (which was initially sold to the American people as a temporary measure that would phase out but then it wasn't allowed to phase out when it came up for a vote). Bloomberg had been against letting it phase out last time but this time he is in favor of letting it go - I was wondering has anything happened in the last couple of months to make him change his mind.
Bloomberg also took a swipe at his favorite whipping boy the educational system as being a reason why he can't create jobs as the need to educate for non-existant jobs is in the present. The jobs that will be created are always to happen at some murky time in the future. Then again that isn't totally true Bloomberg has created one job for lots and lots of money: his job. Bloomberg sounding positively socialist said "companies were doing more with less. We've got to convince them to do more with more."
But this morning Bloomberg wowed his constituents with how moderate he sounded. He was once again truly a moderate third way of the 1% or the fulfillment of mayor .5%.
