President Obama Finally Gets It, You Can’t Compromise With Crazy
In the last few weeks, it seems as if President Obamaz has gotten his mojo back. Starting with the American Jobs Act that lays the ground work for getting Americans back to work, and then his $3 trillion deficit reduction plan, the President has finally found himself again. For what seems like his entire presidency, President Obama has had to deal with the steel wall of stubborn bigotry, known as the Republican Tea Party.Even when the Democrats had the majority in both houses of congress, the Republicans still set filibuster records and voted everything down that the Democrats tried to push through. President Obama has tried over and over to work with his conservative counterparts, but with the Tea Party pushing the GOP further to the right with each passing day, President Obama has found it impossible to get anything done. The man who once talked about compromise and working together, has seemed to realize that you can’t compromise with crazy. The Republican Party has become the party of no, the party that stands up for the bankers on Wall Street, big business tax breaks and the religious right all while putting on their blinders to the rest of the country.
