Nearly one quarter of the Metropolitan Police’s press staff have worked for News International at some point, Sir Paul Stephenson, the outgoing commissioner, revealed today. I guess this is a new version of the English taxpayers paying for their government police that then go to work for a private company like they are Pinkertons. In the US we hire politicians who then go work for a private company. Anybody else see any similarities.
